Slow feeder no. 599 for straw based feed such as hay.

The slow feeder is perfect for wrap, hay, grass seed feed, and straw. It contains 130-140 L that corresponds to approx. 8 kilos of hay depending on how hard you compress it.

Slow feeder no. 599 unlocks and opens easily. Once filled with hay simple close and lock the steel grill again. The horse will now have hay and activity for many hours as the slow feeder only allows the horse to pick out a bit of hay at a time. No hay will be spread, which prevents waste and ensures horses receive their full allocation of hay.

The shape and the placing of the trough also consider the natural eating position for the horses. What is more, the horses do not wear their teeth down wrong and the cases of respiratory disorders are also decreased, because dust etc. falls out through the large holes at the bottom of the feeder.
