Hay dispenser no. 499 for Straw based feed/Hay trough that minimizes waste

Placed in the corner this dispenser takes up very little space and is perfect for wrap, hay, grass seed feed, and straw. It contains 200 L that corresponds to between 8 and 14 kilos of straw feed depending on how hard you compress it.

The horses only pick out a bit of feed but do not spread it all over the stall compared to hay and wrap placed directly on the stall floor. This means less consumption for the stables and steady cost savings, also ensuring that the horses receive the kilos straw-based feed they need. Not least, the feed that is saved is not stomped into the muck and less wastage goes to the dunghill.

The shape and the placing of the trough also consider the natural eating position for the horses. What is more, the horses do not wear their teeth down wrong and the cases of respiratory disorders are also decreased, because dust etc. falls out beneath the trough. The recess at the bottom of the trough makes it easy to slide under with the broom when cleaning the stall.

The trough is mounted in a corner using the 4 stainless steel fittings that are enclosed in the package. The installation instructions state the recommended mounting height that ensures easy cleaning below the trough.
